I very much doubt you will get screws only 0.5mm wide. Definetly not for wood anyhow. The narrowest screw for wood i'v ever come across is 3mm

Maybe try the woodcraft forum. Possibly guys doing model-making etc would know.

Best bet for anything non standard would be dublin bolt and nut;
