People are saying that branches of BofI are refusing cash lodgements if the cash is for 'Rent Payments'. This has been confirmed in the Wexford branch. Why is BofI refusing cash?

A number of branches are going to 3 days weeks. If the machines are working, they will still take cash, providing you have a card for the account.

When is the money (including lost growth) Michael Noonan took in the Pension Levy going to be paid back?

Not what people are being told, it's specifically cash lodgments for "rent payments" that are being refused while other cash lodgments are accepted. Would like confirmation of this for press.

    Hi poochiem,

    Thanks for getting in touch.

All cash lodgements will still be accepted, however, it may not always be possible to request that a narrative is put onto the lodgement. If you require a narrative on a payment into a customer's account, you may need to add them as a payee online or set up a standing order.
