Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

Really want to see Cleverly emerge as a potentially world class midfielder. Can't help thinking it's more hope than expectation though.

ITV commentator just mentioned that Rafael is a regular now. He must have missed that all other options are injured. How do these people get these jobs?!

Gotta love how Rooney strikes the ball....

These Romanian fellows don't seem to be too concerned with winning the ball back....

Far too big a gap between midfield and attack a lot of the time so far which is ridiculous looking at the formation.

Lack of width is a problem already, all very congested in the middle.

Another awful goal. Evra having a Sunday stroll again and CB nowhere to be seen. Lazy lazy lazy.

Why did Evra canter at the end and let him get in the cross? **** sake.

White kit looks better with the dark shorts IMO.

    Giggs ffs

I would give out about Evra's lack of effort there but he has shown that so much over the last 2 years that I kinda don't care anymore.

I thought he'd buck himself up with Buttner on the bench but that was terrible, again.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 11,945 ✭✭✭✭scudzilla

I can't understand why Buttner isn't getting a chance, Evra needs healthy competition, and with him just walking into the team he aint getting it

Super stuff from Patrice Evra. Any young aspiring full-backs out there just watch the way he plays. Then never do that.

It still baffles me how someone who was not too long ago the best in his position can continually look like he's never played there before.

That was fcuking disgraceful by Evra. No effort made to block the cross at all.

Probably because Rafael has been first choice for awhile now and still would be if other options were fit.

He's such a dour and uncharismatic pundit, I'd rather have Shearer, and that's saying something.

I am, but TBh its boring, and interested to see how the holy trinity of rooney, hern and RVP get on, can see how you can okay them all, way to narrow

Must be nearly 2 years now since Evra last tried to close down a player to try stop a cross.

In fairness both Smalling and Jones played a lot at right back last year.

It's not Evra's fault but he is completely past it. What is worrying is that Fergie picks him again and again despite error after error. Evra doesn't need competition he's lost a lot of pace and has lost all of his awareness and acceleration that made him a solid LB in his day.

He needs to be dropped for good. This isin't a phase, he simply isn't good enough anymore akin to Ryan Giggs.

Fergie used to be good at spotting when a player needs to go.

He can still have a roll at the club like Giggs but it should be a minuscule role as blunt as that may sound it's the best for the club.

Anything even Townsend is better than the car wreck that is TV3s coverage.

That goal had absolutely nothing to do with lack of pace, it was lack f effort!
