    Hi.
What size flex is used between the immersion switch and the immersion itself?

Also what's used for circulation pumps etc. in a hot press?

    Thanks.

5 x 2.5 for immersion flex. 3 x 1.5 for pumps. All heat resistant flex

i think the immersion is normally supplied with 4 by 1.5 HR flex

no harm to use 2.5 anyhow

Sorry I actually meant 4 x 2.5 for the immersion

yes the 2.5 is a bit big-afaik the 1.5 is rated for the 3kw load which would be the determining factor here rather than the breaker size

A Whirlpool Hob is rated at approx 5.5kw - what size flex can be used to connect these to junction box?

3 x 4sq. heat resistant flex would be suitable.

Thanks. 4x1.5 HR will do it so.
