Hi, Can someone tell me if you are returning something within 14 days under eu law does it have to be unopened and unused or can it be opened . . . Thanks

I believe, and am open to correction preferably with cited legislation, that you may unpack the item only as far is necessary to inspect it. I would have thought this is interpreted very narrowly. E.g. if it's obvious what it is and what it does then it would need not be opened.
