Visa Debit - no narrative in transactions

    I've moved to paying with Visa Debit as much as possible to get away from my Credit Card.

    However I've noticed that transactions on my VD card don't tell me the retailer, they just showt [date] + 'DEBIT CARD'.

    Is there anything I can do to get a narrative on these transactions?
