Pausing 2nd yr visa????

    Hows it going,
    Im in Australia already and i have just completed my regional work so i qualifey for my 2nd yr visa!
    Thing is I would like to go home to Ireland and do a 2yr college course and then head back out here to oz and try get sponsored or improve my studying!
    My question is can anyone tell me what the max length of time a 2nd yr visa can be put on hold?

    You aren't putting a visa on hold. They are separate visas.
    In theory, you could wait until you are 30 to apply for your second WHV.

    Bare in mind WHV rules may change in the meantime.
