    Somewhere in the Phoenix Park?

Hey BC, thought this was meant to be "a quick one". RSVP.

You have to admit it is perhaps too obscure.

    Anglo site in the docklands.

Yeah, it's in the Phoenix Park, in the grounds between the Papal Cross and the back of the American Ambassador's Residence.

Seems to be some kind of trough for animals.

Thanks BC. There's often a lot of deer up around there so maybe it's for them.
If Phoenix Park is close enough, I'll go with this one. There is an inbuilt clue.

This is a longshot, where Broadstone Bearings used to be, just off Constitution Hill?

  • Closed Accounts Posts: 656 ✭✭✭bobin fudge

I think so, just by the flats and in the bus car park of constitution hill

Yeah, Bobin, that's the place I'm thinking of - between the petrol station & the old railway station.

That's it alright. Called the Harbour House on the shutter box presumably from when there was a canal harbour there. Over to you Speedsie.

Possibly- but the water looks stagnant.
Livestock generally need a fresh water source (e.g. streams, rivers, lakes etc).

If using a trough, it would have to be plumbed to a fresh water source or manually filled several times daily (which is highly unlikely).

Bobin Fudge, the easiest way is to use the Go Advanced reply option, click on the paperclip symbol on the top of the text box, use the Upload File from My Computer box, add some text if you want and Submit Reply.

The more elaborate option is to upload a photo to a Photo Sharing website such as wthax.org having downsized it first to about 500x500 pixels, copy the BCCode (Full) that appears and paste that into your message. The BCCode will look something like ****_01.jpg This way the photo is is embedded and appears on the Boards page.

Hope this helps. Try it and see if it works.

Pictures are covered in the top 10 FAQ:

other options, Youtube etc, are covered in the further FAQ:

Both the FAQs and the Insert Image button assume the photo is already on a website. Getting it onto a website is the slow bit.

Anyway, back to business, where's this?

Well done, Cool Way. It's the church of what was the Redemptorist Convent on St Alphonsus Road, Drumcondra. It's now part of the Chapelgate development.

    Your deal.
