Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

Doesnt the Desire save the contacts on the sim?
Take it and cut it down to micro sim size, import contacts, then remove and put in your new working micro sim.

I got around this by going to settings and adding my gmail account as a Microsoft exchange account. Allowed my I phone to sync with google contacts same as an android phone would have. Found this solution online.
Here's a link. Worked like a charm for me.

Virtually no phone saves contacts to the SIM these days. The reason is that on the SIM the name is limited to 14 characters so Margaret O'Sullivan becomes Margaret O'Sul and the SIM will only store one phone number per contact.
