Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

Anyone remember a turn of the century cheesy dance track with three cartoon girls and a catchy tune? It's been in my bloody head all day but I can't pin it down. It looked like Japanese anime but I think it was Swedish or Norwegian or something.

Daren't ask in the music forum, they'd think I'm a pervert :pac:

yeah, the whole Japanese sexualised kids thing is pretty damn weird.

(graphically a child is someone with a large head and large eyes, like in this video.)

Those Manga style animations never really sat well with me. The books opening the wrong way also puts me out.

To be fair, it really brings out your eyes.

That whole 'bubblegum dance' (I think that's what it's called) genre is pretty weird when you think about it.

Then again, the Magic Roundabout is as far out today as it was fifty years ago.

That's just anime. It's not anything to do with child sexualization. Large head, large eyes, small nose, kawaii. That's how the Japanese draw themselves. Here's a site that explains it.

    Now this is fucking weird!
It derives its name from its controversial gimmick, which involves Transformers getting "power-ups" when they are kissed by human girls—the eponymous "Kiss Players"

That's what censorship does. Everything has to be super-perverted to compensate for the fact that genitals are pixellated.

had a book of that as a child, brought it to class and it was added to the class book shelf, strangely cant remember much of the school year, but remember thinking how wonderful it would be to touch and brush dougles hair...
