Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

2 pints for lunch at a "meeting" and now got handed another beer at my desk by the CEO...

Feels weird being paid to drink and get drunk during the day. Having breakfast may have been a good idea.

Anyone else go drinking a bit early on a Friday?

    (I'm in NZ, it's 3.15pm here)

So you're in gainful employment, in a country that ISN'T Ireland, you get slightly jarred on the job, get paid for doing so, your boss knocks back a couple with you, then back at the office and the boss slips you another beer indicating you may continue drinking?

Sorry if I've missed the point here completely OP, but would you mind re-posting exactly what your problem was with all of that? I mean if you're unhappy with your lot and would be more comfortable doing some minimum wage number then go for it! I'm sure you'll be happy with it.

Yup. But in my defence it was to stave off the hangover that was kicking in from last night.

Didn't get home til 4am (was out at karaoke with work people) and the hangover started kicking in at 11am so had a cheeky beer with lunch and now having another few as it's beer o'clock :)

I'm in Oz by the way....this is how we do it!
