Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

Google Nexus 7

Have a friend who is going to New York in a few weeks and was going to ask her to pick me up an 8gb Nexus 7 tablet. I just have a couple of questions-

Fine to use here ? i.e. not locked or restricted to anything US related ?

And are they available in bricks and mortar shops? All I can seem to see is options to buy online. If anyone knows the name of a chain of electronics stores in NY that sells them that would be great as I don't want to send her on a wild goose chase.

    Yes they are.
The Google Nexus 7 tablet is flying off store shelves and earning praise from many users, and reviewers, which means it is hard to find a store with the Nexus 7 tablet in stock.

The Nexus 7 16GB is sold out in the Google Play store and the option to reserve the next shipment of the Nexus 7 from stores like Office Depot is gone, but you don’t have to call every store in your city to track down the Nexus 7 tablet.

Milo.com will do the hard work, and help you find a store with the Nexus 7 in stock.

Both my brothers bought them over here, and so far so good. Nice little yokes. Haven't used them all that much, but they seem snappy enough!

Nice one lads, hopefully will have one in my hands in the next two weeks. Was going to go with the AllWinner one in the Bargain Alerts forum but with customs charges it is €78 so might as well spean €150 and get the Nexus as it has most of the features I'm after

    Thanks :)
