Halloween Costumes suitable for work?

Title says it all really.. I work in a resturant and just found out dressing up is compulsary for us all on Halloween night. Want to put effort in but it cant be too booby or short (for leaning over tables) or cumbersome for carrying trays etc Tried googlin but can find much thats outta the ordinary/not a million pounds.…

Why not throw on a casual black dress and just add hat and various accessories for a witch\lady pirate etc. At least you can throw a top on to make the dress less booby or whatever and as you're just buying accessories it won't cost the earth either
