US Greencard DV Lotto - A few questions

    Hi,

    I'm planning on entering the DV lotto for a US Green but have a few questions before I do.

    What is the story with submiting a photo? I know you need to upload one. Would a digital passport photo be ok?

    How long does it typically take to fill out? 1 hour? 2 hours?
    I was planning to wait until next weekend to set aside a few hours to meticulously fill the application out.

    1. Yes, but it must be a US style photo- they have different dimensions.

    2. Less than an hour. The big paperwork comes if you win a place.

    The application itself is only a few minutes work really. As said, the hard work only comes if you are selected!

    Use the guidelines given for photos on the site. That's often the trickier bit!
