    Funnily enough, that's about the only positive of being a smoker too. You'll probably die of cancer, but the nicotine means you're less likely to lose your mind.
    Not so - actually the opposite per the research. See here too.

    However, smoking is associated with a lower risk of developing Parkinson's Disease. A few other 'benefits' of smoking.

    Fair enough, that is pretty damning, but it does specifically mention extremely heavy smokers (two packs a day!) during a particular period of their lives.

    On the other hand. So it would be interesting to see the results of a study on light or average level smokers.
