Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

Why don't they up the sound of the crowd? Sounds dead, more mics wouldn't do any harm.

Per has been very good this season, clueless isn't the word for the panel!

I hadn't realised that Vermaelen underhitting a pass was Mertesacker's fault.

There's a market for kitschy Irish/'Celtic' stuff in Germany. They probably enjoyed it for the different take on the anthem that it was.

Yeah, saw a load of them coming out of "Carrolls" in town today. Looked like they took half the shop out with them! A great bunch of lads.

    Encouraging start by Ireland.

Could be as well a genuine appreciation to the band itself.

All the Germans standing in the Havelock end! Fair fcuks to them, I'd say it's about 15 times smaller than the Südtribüne terrace in Dortmunds ground. The Aviva that is.

German fans are class, every other major league should look at the bundesliga for an example of how to create a proper fan experience.

    Sudtribune is amazing fwiw

Yeah, and did you know, Darren O'Dea plays his club football with Toronto FC? It's true, look it up. RTE also told me about 17 times already.

Incidentally, that was a class little touch by Muller there as he as off balance.

Ireland are actually trying to play football, this is incredible

I'm impressed so far in terms of how we're set up. 3 man midfield suits us a lot more against good opposition.

Haha, that was only mentioned once so far on Sky.(and I didnt know until they said it!)

Watch this lead to a 'heroic' 2-0 or 3-1 defeat and for us to revert to antifootball against the Faroes

Had a season ticket between 1985 and 2004 for the Sudtribune, it's like the 12th man

But you can't compare the fans of the league clubs with those following the national team. You have to be a registered 'DFB Fanclub' supporter to gain access to away tickets, so they only have the very nice ones travelling ;)

of course we are going to lose, we are playing the best team in the world right now, but by playing attacking positive football, our loss will be much less than if we play long ball football and give them all the possession. If we played how we usually do we would lose by at least 6 goals against this team.
