Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

You'd wonder how Kagawa's yellow and Gutierrez yellow were deemed the same.

I'm yet to see a game where you couldn't make a very good case for him to be sent off.

They said he's had 28 yellows in 50-odd games. Only 1 red. He almost certainly deserved more.

    Rough tackle on Kagawa.

Games used to start at 4.05. Why was that?

First TV match would be 2 o'clock, now they're 1.30.

    Rooney looks sharp today again!

What would the extra 4 minutes gain?

Wtf was Evra risking that for.

    Stupid from Evra.

extra buffer in case of overlapping times. 2 oclock games could finish quite close to 4, so sky used to get in some ads before going to next game

Just great defending there from Carrick to nick the ball

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 10,772 ✭✭✭✭Paul Tergat

Well that was a great first 20 to the game. The disappointing thing is we took our foot off somewhat

    Welbeck for Anderson.

Very enjoyable half of football that.

Rooneys had a great game do far . Welbeck has been poor

To be fair there was no way Newcastle playing at home weren't going to come back in to it.

Still think it looks more likely that Utd will get a third than Newcastle getting one.

Good first half, great first 25.

Welbeck is still a bit Bambi on ice when he gets into goal scoring positions.

Tiote kicks Rooney and stamps on Cleverley but is booked for a hissy fit.

Kagawa is booked after one slide tackle that barely connected.

    Webb logic.

This surprises you? It's typical United....

yeah i said as much earlier but to some degree we let them. the passing wasnt as crisp and it resulted in us giving the ball back to them too easy.

delighted at the scoreline though and hope we come out with a good tempo again and kill the game

Never said it surprised, just disappoints. There was no need for us to then retreat.

Disappointed to have let them come back into the game.
Ripped them apart for 20 minutes and reverted to type for the last 25.

A lot of hoofball been played particularly by Cleverley.
RvP looks off the pace and Welbeck has been shìte.

Hope we can start the second half like the first and put this to bed.

That's good, because he makes coming out to meet a cross look like trying to divide by zero.

World class saves when it could have been claimed on the cross

That's why ddg shouldn't be starting until he bulks up.

    Incredible save.

    Good call from the linesman.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 3,623 ✭✭✭double GG

If he isn't 100% sure he can't give it. Even with the slow mo cameras it was inconclusive.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 11,906 ✭✭✭✭PhlegmyMoses

I thought that was definitely in but I can't tell from that replay.

De Gea. Ridiculous to the sublime.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 28,710 ✭✭✭✭Paully D

What a fantastic save that was!

Whole ball didn't cross the line completely, good decision.

it was a bad decision. timing was wrong rather than someone bundling him out of it
