Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

No he just shouldn't run out like he has something to prove everytime a ball goes into the box, I hope to god he is not being coached to do that.

Don't think it was fully over the line

Can see Kag coming off soon. When we dont have much of the ball, which i expect for the rest of the game, its better to have either val or ando on

    Yup. It's like he's over-compensating.

Looked at it three times now and still not sure either way. Correct call then if officials were not sure either.

    Yup

But on the bolded bit, if they are coaching it seems like they are allowing him to punch as well which i hate

It looked in to me, they stoped the replay after de gea had got his hand do it. Is anyone surprised it wasn't given though.

Could do with an extra body in that midfield. Kagawa perhaps coming off, maybe even RVP.

One thing I'm not suprised at is that you think its over the line.

I agree Sky stopped it slightly after the ball was pushed out a little but even though it still looked slightly on the line. Even with the slo-mo replays it's inconclusive to me and most other people. The Assistant Ref can only give it if he is 100% sure it crossed the line.

Welbeck has some turn of speed

This is fucking typical. Start brilliantly, take the foot off the gas.

Newcastle are just guaranteed a goal.

    Cleverley is an awful finisher.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 31,949 ✭✭✭✭Mars Bar

Cleverley gets far too excited when he is presented with a shot on goal!

De Gea is worse than Dracula when it comes to crosses

He is misspelt more often than overrated.

  • Moderators, Sports Moderators Posts: 42,606 Mod ✭✭✭✭Lord TSC

I wish everytime the Newcastle keeper got it, United were rushing him. He gives the ball away under pressure so we should be constantly charging him...

I, for one, am shocked to see you take such a position.

This further strengthens the conspiracy theory you have going.

BTW, the fact that a super slo-mo replay was needed for you to come to that conclusion should tell you something.

I thought it was in but the replays definitely showed it did not go in

I'm not 100%, I can see why he didn't give it though when we can't be sure after a few replays.

Kawaga is wasted on the flanks, I don't know why Fergie bought him if his idea was to play him there. If we didn't sign Rvp , he'd be playing behind wazza , ideally he could play behind both but then where's Valencia going to fit...

    Tiote should be gone.

  • Closed Accounts Posts: 1,352 ✭✭✭daveyboy_1ie

Valencia used to be so good at hitting crosses into the box without thinking. Every time he gets there now he pauses and chance is almost gone.

That was after he got his hand to it though, it's not conclusive.

Bit sore after the draw today I presume?

    pic]

Remember that that pic hasn't been taken directly along the line so really hard to tell from that one.

De Gea's left leg looks weird in that pic though!

    Tiote on his last warning.

Can't give it unless its conclusive. 'Looked in to me' is not conclusive.

I guess it's time for 15 minutes of United playing well, before a final 15 minutes of Newcastle dominance....

Being outplayed once again this season. Of the teams we've played, Everton and Spurs have had the ability to make the possession count.

Probably lucky that we have yet to play any other top teams.

I'd worry for when we play Chelsea, City or Arsenal,
