Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

We probably won't have money from the owners anyway. How much do you think we will get when we sell Cole? Hardly enough for anyone worth buying.

    about ten fiddy.

Stoke are a fcuking horrible dirty team to watch. 3 players tried to take out Sterling there. Whitehead deserved that booking

Happy enough with the clean sheet and performance tbh. Not so happy with Rodger's changes.

    Massive disappointment.

Getting rid of Carroll on loan when he was made for games like this seemed stupid in August and even more so now.

Even with the whole "I though Dempsey was coming" argument.

Hit the post 4 more times I think, soul destroying that. How joe cole can be left near that time is a ****en disgrace.

the way the camera went to Adam after Cole punted the ball out of touch. It was a look of disbelief...you played ....him....

I hope we won't all focus too much on Joe Cole.

    Andy Carroll - 58 appearances, 11 goals.

Our problem was not getting rid of Carroll, it was not replacing him (and stems way back to never properly replacing Torres).

Ah, that's a disappointing performance and result. At least we improved in the second half.

Young lads looking like young lads today. Gerrard and Sahin sloppy. Suso anonymous for most of the game apart from one or two nice passes. Defence didn't have much to do, clean sheet finally. Suarez and Sterling both could have scored and showed a lot of desire, looked our two most dangerous players but that's not saying much

    Very frustrating. Very disappointing.

Yes we hit the woodwork another, what, 4 times?

But Stoke came for a point and defended far better than we attacked. This time it wasn't poor finishing that let us down, but a complete lack of ideas and poor execution of passes.

Not good enough. No real complaints.

These home draws will kill us seriously. I don;t feel all that much better than if we had lost that. Draws in these games are 2 massive points dropped.

3 points against Reading is a must.

    7 from Norwich (A), Stoke (H) and Reading (H) wouldn't be a bad return.

Where has The Rodgers come from?

**** performance today, the midfield three were all terrible I thought

Into october and we have six points, not good enough regardless of new changes, the spine of this team has been here years and are better than this.

Being a little too simplistic imo.

We had no target man for the last 25 minutes, nobody in the centre, nobody to get in the end of crosses. All Caroll would have needed to do is get a touch to somebody or ruffle a few Stoke feathers.

They had a relatively easy time of it for the last 20 minutes.

People overreacted when we thumped Norwich, people are over reacting now. Not a great performance but we certainly weren't awful either. It's pretty obvious at this stage that some guys on her want Rodgers to fail, whether its due to "loyalty" to a former manager or just wanting to appear right having said he wasn't up to it at the start. Kinda sad to see really, particularly as some of these are long time posters who's posts i generally enjoy reading...

anyway like i said, not great but not awful. A lot of room for improvement for sure...

    Reina 6
    Skrtel 7
    Agger 8
    Johnson 6
    Wisdom 6
    Allen 6
    Sahin 5
    Gerrard 5
    Sterling 6
    Suso 6
    Suarez 6.5

They would be my match ratings. Too wasteful and sloppy in midfield and little cutting edge and threat up front.

Agger was very good and my Liverpool man of the match, though I would imagine the actual man of the match will go to one of the Stoke players, perhaps Whitehead or one of the Centre-backs.

Nah, I don't think anyone of any note overreacted on here when we beat Norwich.

Not a bad result when you see City and Arsenal both got only a point against Stoke. I think Pool have too high expectations of their team.
