Do I need a graphics card if I get the following
ASUS P8Z77-V LX Motherboard
Intel Core i5-3570K

I was going to get the following graphics card Gainward GeForce GT 630
but is it going to make a big difference for gaming?
(Its just that I'm on a tight budget)

Also is the Intel Core i5-3570K Ivy bridge?

when you doing build for gaming the GPU is your main priority. that GPU you want to go for wont even pull the skin of the sausage.

Yea you need a good graphics card for gaming so need to buy a seperate one

The motherboard has a hdmi and dvi connection to run the graphics processing on the cpu. Getting the GeForce GT 630 would be pointless.
I say either buy a decent graphics card for something like €150 or use the onboard one.

This is the best advice, if you to game on the pc it would be best to buy a better gpu and cheaper cpu. What's your total budget?

So I take it the stand alone graphics from the i5 is not good enogh for games. If your max is €500 I'd drop the 3570K and put more money into a decent GPU.

I think you are spending too much on cpu and motherboard if this is a gaming build.

I'd agree with the z77. I'd also recommend spending an extra fiver and getting this Ivy Bridge: http://www1.hardwareversand.de/Socket+1155/65982/Intel+Core+i3-3220+Box%2C+LGA1155.article

I'd look to save money with a cheaper case.
