Hotel recomendation

Was in kilkenny last year for my stag party and we stayed in langtons hotel for the weekend.Planning to go up next month for a night away 4 lads in total. Langtons is booked out the weekend were going so was looking for another hotel to stay.
Can anyone recommend somewhere central and not too expensive?

Not central but the Aspect hotel is a twenty minute walk into town and about €7 in a taxi.

What about the ormond hotel?I can get a good deal on trivago.ie and its in a great location.
