I used to eat mashed potato sandwiches....I feel ill when I think back on it!!

I had one the day before yesterday using the leftover mash in the pot. Tasty. Even better with beans and sausage.

I was always fond of throwing some of my curry chips into two pieces of bread, but lately I’ve been putting in bits of chicken balls and red sauce too.
My wife doesn’t really like eating around me anymore

What about a toast sandwich? I must try it some time.

    http://www.rsc.org/AboutUs/News/PressReleases/2011/MrsBeeton.asp

    Mrs Beeton's Toast Sandwich

Toast a thin slice of bread.

Butter two slices of bread and sprinkle with salt and pepper to taste.

Place the slice of toast between the 2 slices of bread-and-butter to form a sandwich.

One thing I learnt this summer. You can't pre make crisp sandwichs and wrap them in tinfoil. They go stale very quickly.

Better to just wrap some buttered bread in said tinfoil and add the crisps when required.
