I wonder who the support act'll be.
The last two times we got Bouncing Souls and Face to Face.

I hate those VIP things since they always seem to be way overpriced . so really you are paying €100 to meet them and get a cd and poster

Depends on how you look at it, On more than one occasion I've spent 80 euro or more on merch at gigs and when i saw dkm in 09 i spent 65 on a hoodie and t shirt. so if i had the cash an extra 60 quid to meet the band and see the sound-check (especially if they were taking requests) doesn't seem that bad to me. I understand some people would consider it a rip off though.

Oh i know that i just meant since t shirts will prob be around €25/€30 and ticket is €26 so really the €100 is just to meet the band/cd/poster

Acclaimed English folk-punk songwriter Frank Turner has been confirmed as very special guest for both of Dropkick Murphys Dublin shows in Vicar Street on Jan 12 and 13th

Renowned for his passionate, fiery live performances and songs laced with social commentary, Turner has become one of the hottest live acts in the UK over the last two years.

This Frank Turner fella just sold out Wembley Arena a few months back

He's supporting the Dropkicks on there whole Euro tour and Australia, everywhere EXCEPT the UK, probably too big to support there

Yeah he is massive in the uk. He normally does smaller shows but in large quantities over there. Just look at his tour in November/December.

Bah the Saturday Tickets are sold out :(

  • Registered Users Posts: 11,933 ✭✭✭✭scudzilla

Listened to the album 5/6 times now and for me it's just a 'meh' album.

They seem to have forgotten there punk roots and are staying in the irish jiggy way of things.
