Problem with Career mode

So Im in my second season in Career mode as a player,its preseason and I am with City.I went into "Edit My pro" and now Im trying to get back out onto the dashboard but this message pops up but it wont let me go back out to do anything,im stuck in Edit my Pro pages,has anyone else encountered this or is there anything I…

The Manchester City squad is full. Your player has been added to the Free Agent list

but it wont let me go back out to do anything,im stuck in Edit my Pro pages,has anyone else encountered this or is there anything I can do? Cant remember when my last save was
