    Folks,
Wondering if anyone out there could help....

I'm looking for a small 19" LCD TV that'll be Saorview ready but with a USB input that'll play DivX etc. movies.

DVD Player isin't important, but most come with built-in DVD these days anyhow

If needs be i'll spend up to 200 euro, but the USB that'll play movies etc. is imperative.

    Cheers folks

I just ordered one of these for the small mans room. looks like it ticks all your boxes. Free shipping with amazon too, a steal at £100 http://www.amazon.co.uk/gp/product/B004S00CHY/ref=ox_sc_act_title_1?ie=UTF8&smid=A3P5ROKL5A1OLE

Did you check online to confirm that it's Saorview? Any idea if the USB port will play .avi files?

Any of the Walker sets from Power City and others will do this and be Saorview.

It won't be Saorview if it's from the UK like this one is, It will be Freeview..all this information including the info on the USB file types are there on the link.

You could try the Logik brand from Currys - I think they are about €180 with built in DVD player, USB ports and will work with saorview.

Rob - Ive seen this Digihome TV in Currys - didnt really like the look of it - looked very plastic to me.

    Regards

Even better is I can go into Curry's with a USB stick and see if it'll play a movie ;) Think i'll just go to a bricks and morter for this one, it'll give me the peace of mind I want!

bring a range of stuff on the USB stick

annoying when they only play 80% of things... had to resort to a htpc when I was looking, a few years ago
