Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

    Can anybody please help...

Does anybody know what the quality of UPC's MMDS around Ballina is like?

    What channels are on offer?

Does the digital recording service work?

Best to ask UPC on freephone 1908.

If you are in an old Chorus (as opposed to NTL) area then recording will not work. I suspect this is the case.

They will also be able to tell TV lineup as it varies area to area. You can basically just ignore their website.

It might be better to go for a Satellite and Saorview setup as it would have no monthly bills and a once off install costs. These are the channels you would get:
    http://www.tvtrade.ie/free-to-air-tv-channels.html

Basically the main Irish and UK channels, about 20 worth watching and the rest are rubbish.

MMDS might carry pay movies and sports depending on the area. MMDS coverage can also vary street to street, depending on line of sight to the transmitter.

Overall it may work out around the same price as a Sky system. Depending on the package and options one may be cheaper than the other.
