Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

Tricity Bendix stops halfway through small wash

Tricity Bendix AW1002 W washing machine

Sometimes when I wash just one object like a light mat the wash will stop half way through. The manual says this could be weight distribution but today it would not fill again even when I moved the mat in the drum. Now three hours later mat is out and it will not fill

This has happened before and it was OK the next morning which would seem to suggest there is nothing caught in it. Do they overheat and would that cause the above?

Sounds like a cold water valve solenoid, it will need replacing.

what is that and what does it mean? Why would it stop filling and yet work the day after?

When the machine asks for water the solenoids are electrically energised and creat a magnet that opens the water valve, they tend to be tempremental before dying completely begining by breaking down when hot, once cool again it will work, until hot again..
