Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

Solid fuel to be used with stove as main heat supply this winter

We just got out stove installed (his name is Waterford ^^) and connected to the back boiler. I have no experience with using solid fuel as main source of heating supply, so can anyone shine a light or give any tips that might come to use? So far we've been using bits of timber to get it started, top it up with brickets once timber is red, when brickets burn up red throw in some smokeless coal. Now we don't know if this is a good way to do it or not, smokeless coal is a bit pricier that regular one, is there much difference? Will it have much effect? Been looking at other options such as turf, logs etc, but totally clueless what would be better and efficient. Was thinking to order bulk for the winter and store it in the garage, any suggestions? If it makes any difference with picking solid fuel we live in Sligo Town
