New 5" eReader for only 10 yoyos coming soon. Powered by 2 rechargeable AAA batteries, it weighs only 128 gram. No connectors or memory card, you'll need a Bluetooth device to transfer your ebooks to the reader.

Very interesting - but if it's a pain to find, buy and then transfer books on to it, then the cheap price might not count for much.

A couple of more downsides :(
Because the Beagle doesn’t have an operating system of its own, it will rely on the accompanying smartphone app to do everything except turn the pages, right down to altering the font size.
    ...
according to a report in Der Spiegel, the Beagle is going to be something called a “companion reader,” and will be sold as an add-on with a new smartphone contract. This subsidized pricing model means the price shortfall will probably find its way into your monthly payments.

Just receive an e-mail from the company after I registered on their site

"Thanks for your interest in the txtr beagle!

We have had an overwhelming response since we revealed the product at the Frankfurt Book Fair.

The beagle is designed to be a companion to a smartphone and we want to make it available to everyone soon. As announced, the txtr beagle is intended to be sold as part of a mobile tariff. The details of this may vary from country to country.

At the moment, we are in discussions with several major mobile operators to bring the beagle to you in early 2013. We will keep you updated on this."
