Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

No, panel only applies if your job is lost due to falling numbers. If you give up a permanent job of your own will, you have to re-apply for other jobs, like everyone else. With the way things are,I'd be very careful. You would be "last in" in your new school and then would be "first out" if numbers fall there.

you could job share and be based out of another school. or you could advertise for a job swop in the in touch magazine. used to be quite common.
Dont give up a permanent job in these times.
or you can opt to go on the panel in place of another teacher in your school. risky though.
