Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

Noisy shoes

I bought a new pair of ankle boots that make a lot of noise when I walk in them. BANG BANG BANG BANG. They have flat heels. What can I do to stop the noise so that I'm not drawing unnecessary attention to myself?

You could try bringing them to somewhere where they fix shoes and have the bottom part of the heel replaced with a rubber part so they're less noisy. Sorry about the lack of technical terms. :p

Edit: Although if they're completely flat with no heel whatsoever, I don't know if they can be fixed!

Hi you could try Anti Slip shoes pads. They sell them on ebay. They stick to the soles of your shoes, it would stop the noise.

Quite annoying this thing. I used to go to a shoes repairer and put rubber on the sole. Ι suggest you do the same.
