Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

Just saw the story about the apology, surely Chang's position is untenable if Ayre and the lcub thought his actions were inappropriate?

"You know how crazy football fans are", he said, "You'll have dog **** coming through your letterbox, you'll have to take your Facebook page down, you might even have to move house".

He repeated the stuff about dog **** coming through my letterbox several times, reiterating that football fans, especially Liverpool FC fans, are crazy and would make my life a living hell.

The link in the OP, it's the former comm directors own take on Liverpool fans. Can't imagine it would be easy for his family after that whole mess.

Good riddance. Another frankly risible hire by FSG.

Feel free do more than skim through the facts before you pass off something as fact that has never been confirmed as fact.

The link in the OP is a self-confessed bullshitter's blog post but don't let that stop you. FYI, his family are based in New York and were affected by Hurricane Sandy

So nothing to do with the apology Liverpool made then with regards to the handling of the spoof twitter account a couple of weeks back. Just coincidence I suppose. Weird timing I guess.

Once the club issued an apology specifying that certain things were inappropriate I figured it could be taken as fact.

I'm not denying what happened, just that you can't take the blog post as 100% gospel truth

    What did they apologise for?

It seems the club issue a statement citing family reasons it gets dismissed.
They issue an apology and assumptions are mad.

    Carry on

I agree totally. Sorry I thought people were using Hurricane Sandy issues as the reason for Changs departure.

I think the fact he said certain things and not everything can be taken that not everything that happened in the blog is true.
