Realistically the Twisted Pepper is the only venue where you will find all of the above.

Grand Social has decent low key house music, the Button Factory does plenty of bigger name House / Techno gigs (pricier than the same names would be if they were in the TP and with inferior sound compared to the TP).

In terms of the whole package though, the Twisted Pepper is the only venue in town these days.

These are on in the twisted pepper tomorrow http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=opbKuMWMs8I

does there be a dj then after of a more electric orientation?

Any opinions on pygmalion, lost society and industry?

Pygmalion can have some decent house from time to time, but crowd can often be half people there for the music, half people who just wandered into for some cocktails because it's a nice bar on a trendy street.
Lost Society, generally full of kids.
    never been to Industry.
some decent techno nights on in Kennedys every now and again.
the Bernard Shaw has some good hiphop/dub/electronic acts too. it's run by the same people who run the TP.

as ES said, Twisted Pepper is head and shoulders above the rest for all-round "electronic" music.

as for the setup on the night, there's a number of rooms in the TP. the "Stage" room is the biggest and will often have live bands on there, or if the act has anything more than decks, will be there.
downstairs, the "Basement" room, is a bit smaller, has a DJ booth, and lots of the international DJs will be down there, unless they're a really big name, in which case they'll have their decks etc. set up for more people.
most Friday and Saturday nights, there'll be acts in both rooms simultaneously.
there's a few other smaller rooms too but they probably won't be used tomorrow night from the looks of what's on.

for something like the vid you posted, that would probably be on the stage, while one of the other acts who is just a DJ on their own would be playing in the Basement. you can move between rooms easily (unless there's a big name playing).

You know the way every city has one good club?

The Twisted Pepper is that club.

Management are great in there, they started off as small music promoters / DJ's, and pretty much everything they've done has had the love of music right at the heart of it.
