Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

Can't Drag and Drop Into iTunes

Usually I'm able to just drag items from my external hard drive straight onto my ipod/iphone but it's not working any more?

I have the "manually manage music and videos" tab checked on both devices.

I can't even drag items into my library any more.

Anybody know what's going on or how to fix it?

    I'm using version 10.6.3

I can import songs 1 at a time into my library and from there can drag them onto my ipod/iphone but I have a lot of stuff I want to put on them, would take me too long to do it one at a time.

you can lo longer drag and drop into iTunes

You must add to library for everything now

Does it have to be done through importing it on itunes or can you copy/paste the files directly into the itunes folder?

    Also.... that's bull**** >.<

Will downgrading itunes to an earlier version work?

My ipod is a 5th gen, latest software.

Try click manually manage music under iphone options when you plug it in?

    Already have, still doesn't work.

That shouldn't make a difference for dragging into library though. Have apple decided to change it so you can't drag mass files into the library? Maybe as a way of preventing piracy?

    It's really annoying either way!

You have to import them, and dont think dowgrading will work as once itunes and the device are out of sync version wise, the device wont work and you will have to upgrade
