Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

Would the following couple be eligible for a mortgage.

    Him:
Earnings: 30,000 per annum after tax.
    9 years full time employment.
    Fixed full time working hours.

    Her :
Earnings: 10,400 per annum. In first year of course which is of 3 years duration with expectation of gaining part time employment in 3 years time with similar income.

Couple have no loans and have 10,000 in savings.

They have 2 kids under 5 and 3 years provable history of renting without any arrears at any stage.

Does anyone with knowledge of the mortgage market or people in a similar situation know if the above couple would be considered for a mortgage in today's market and if so of what value of mortgage do you think they would be eligible for.

    Thanks in advance.
