Garmin sat nav 2320

    Hope somebody can advise me. Bought a garmin 2320 sat nav in August which worked perfectly until I decided to register it on garmin website. After registering it, I keyed in product key on a card which came in the box and proceeded to download lifetime maps, which all concluded successfully as per website. However, all the maps which I already had seem to have been deleted from the device and besides no new maps seemed to have been dowloaded. I get the message 'no map data available' when I intend to key in an address.
    Have been back to the shop, they can't help and gave me UK support number which I have phoned several times and have been left holding due to volume of calls. I have also used the support area on their website but to no avail.
    Have also Has anybody else experienced this problem and how did you sort it? Thanking you in anticipation.
