Same here. Only got the 4th prize yesterday. Don't know if I want to spend donuts on getting him.

I don't get how people can be so far off. I thought the timing on this event was damn near perfect. I'll get Lucius when I log in later and collect from the Casino. I've only visited friends I think three times and have logged in most days only twice or three times. If I had been more efficient, I'd have gotten him ages ago.

I actually mis-spoke, I got the 4th prize yesterday, not the 3rd. So I'm working towards Lucius.

I'd be way closer but I basically didn't play the game on Wednesday or Thursday, and was very sparse Sunday to Tuesday because I was organising an event so just didn't have the time. I reckon I'll just about get him. I figure I can lower the donut cost by about 130 per day, so I'll be just under the 90 donuts I have at the moment.

Yeah, got Lucius yesterday, but more importantly I finished off Springfield Heights this weekend so I will have Paris Texan grinding out the chips for act 2!

Do you have to just collect keychains and coasters to move towards another crafting level? Tough event!

So got lucious and have 20 coins in the bank. Is it best to use these now in order to get the free donuts for 8500 chips or just hoard them for level 2

Currently sitting at 175 donuts away from Lucius. It'll be a slog, but I think I may just make it. I got down 135 from this time yesterday, so if I play the same today, and maybe add in one extra shift before 8am tomorrow, I may just end up only having to spend ~20 donuts, which I'd be happy with tbh.

Of course, a few lucky spins on the slots could help me out a lot, as could a few unlucky spins really screw me...

I'm hoarding for now. I'm going to be busy with work for the next 2 acts so will need all the help I can get. Maybe wait until closer to the time and see how far off the donut bonus you are, if you only have to use a couple of coins I would go for it then.

Act 2 requires less total chips than Act 1 so I'd save all the coins unless you have no other option. Chips (or whatever currency) will likely be harder to come by since we need less of it.

I am exactly half way. And the burns stuff I am 150 away from unlocking the next item and no way of getting there as yet.

How are people getting so many chips? I'm playing every day and only just passed 20k green chips. Some of my friends have 40-50k already. Am I missing something?

I'm on level 2 now. Not sure whether to try for level 3 before I craft. Did do a few stars though.

I ended up spending 9.99. First time I have ever sunk a penny into it. Wanted donuts.

I've done a little experiment since the start of act 2. Logged in 4 times a day, sometimes 5 if it wasn't too late ro stay awake (on holidays from work this week), visited friends every day, didn't save any tokens and hunted the town for any stray gamblers. I'm halfway towards the final prize already. If you can log in often enough, you'll get enough chips in no time. I did this because I'd be in work for the end of act 2 so don't have to worry about logging in to make sure I get all the prizes.

That really is the way to do it. That's what I've done in previous events and it has always worked out with plenty to spare. For Act 1 I wasn't able to do that and I ended up 1600 chips short for the final prize.

I got all the act 1 prizes with 2 day to spare, and ended up with around 160 coins going into act 2. Using all those at the start got me to just under the amount needed for the third prize. I should be finished act 2 tomorrow I reckon and will then hoard the coins again for act 3.

I haven't made a single upgrade on the way from level 2 crafting to level 3 so hopefully I can do that in act 3. None of the craftables are "must have" items for me though

How many friends are needed to make that possible? I have about 12 active friends, visit every day. Like you I am logging in at least 3 times a day and sending characters on casino jobs. Just dont seem to be racking up the chips as quickly as others. Currently on 27k.

Do you have Paris Texan unlocked and earning chips at the casino?

I only unlocked her last week (Springfields Height grind grind grind) and now notice a big increase in the prize track progression in act II (nearly finished with five days to spare)

The gamblers seem to giving 20 green chips now each. I thought it was 10 up to now so that should help people get the prizes
