Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

New York City is getting a Back To Our Past style genealogy show for the first time in a number of years.

The Genealogy Event is on in less that two weeks, on the 26&27th Oct.

There will be a very heavy Irish presence there. Ireland Reaching Out and The Irish Ancestry Research Centre are coming over in addition to the New York based Irish Family History Forum and the New York Irish Center.

For $15 it will be well worth a visit if you happen to be in NYC that weekend.

Haven't decided to go yet. Some of the talks looks interesting but I'm not sure if there's be enough there to hook me.
