Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

a small minority will always find a reaosn to hate - colour, beliefs, etc etc

    Its the devil at work

But most people are too busy trying to find their way in the world and have no time for such nonsense

Stupid post. I'm referring to the bulk of the hardcore NI fans, not your average Northern Irish citizen who I've no ill feeling towards.

Changed that wet day in November 93 when they made racist chants and never seen more hatred in any match since.

the reason there was much hatred that night was because the IRA blew up the shankill rd just one month before

Thats why theres so much hate in the world, people always looking back, holding a grudge

So, how many goals do you think Ronnie will get in this one?

    Another guaranteed hat-trick?

I sense a bad beating on the cards.

    Q) Portugal v NI, Tuesday. So how many will Ronaldo get?

    A) Zero

Fair play to NI delighted for them. No doubt played with spirit, bravery and belief against a top side. We could do worse than take note ourselves

Kinda hope NI get something out of this because of the attitude of the thread :P

    ;)

Cake, and grief counseling, will be available at the conclusion of the test

Super stuff, great defending too! Awful week for Portugal, they must have been expecting 4pts minimum from those 2 games.

Great performance. Great point, pity we couldn't have held on but I'd have taken a point at the start.

Niall McGinn showing again that he is quality. Both Evans' were immense. Aaron Hughes is some machine.

We'll get 3 points off them at home. ;) :pac:

It's hardly a small minority. Their largest fan forum put this up as their banner image before the French game a few years back.

By the way I didn't give us a chance...but kept my opinions to myself! :)

I was impressed by Roy Carroll. He was confident, he looked to have a safe pair of hands. He was aided though by the Ulsterbus parked in his 18 yard box! :) Shame he wasted a few years of his career after Man Utd. Glad to have him back in the fold!

congrats to NI , i was hoping they would hang on for the win. anyway great result , jonny evans was outstanding imo

I hope they don't mess it up now and slip up in November against Azerbaijan.

I don't like the anti NI stuff you see on a lot of sites from some Irish supporters. I like Michael O'Neill, Niall McGinn supports the ROI team. Roy Carroll and Johnny Evans are both top pro's well known throughout Ireland. I wish NI well, wish we could have some more performances like they showed last night.

Would love to see an all island team, I know, I know, it will never happen but it would at the very least be interesting!

barely hanging on at the end, Portugal should have won that 3 or 4-1
