    It's always funny when someone uses a load of bullets to try and kill you and get's a flashlight for their troubles, if anything at all.

    its pretty good as is and it will be much better at the end of the month

    also they fixed the zombies and i joyned a game got chased by some one and got killed :) hehehe

    this game is actually quite good when you get a group together, had an epic game session tonight where a group of 4 of us walked into a store only to get killed except for 1 guy who held the bandit until we managed to return, we then proceeded to hammer rush him from three different entrances (keeping in mind he had shotguns) and win :eek: all happy out reclaiming our loot when blam a sniper starts popping shots at us, so i decided to be the crawling loot recovery specialist :D managed to get most of the valuables back without being killed and logged out,
    if this game keeps proceeding in the way it has over the last few days i can see it being very good

    Looks good but having to pay $40 for a game which is using a free to play 'in-game currency' model is more than slightly off putting.

    tbh most of the stuff you can buy just seems like its there for convenience, i can find most of that stuff (bar the masks) without much effort, isnt the lead guy on this (sergey) one of the lead devs that did league of legends?

    I know I'm spoiling but this looks horrible! noway has this been in development for 2 years! The devs delete all bad posts from the forums because they cant take it..... B.T.W Dayz is a mod and has less bugs then a game that is in alpha.... in my opinion I hate this game and the company is really just leaching from all the Dayz zombie craze.     This game is not leeching from dayz, ffs its in development long before dayz, i love dayz as much as the next guy but im tired of the same old line that it ripped off dayz

    If anyone is interested towellie is streaming warz live right now.
    Warz has about 10k watching live streams right now where as dayz has 200.
    Glad not everyone sees this game as the guy above :rolleyes:

    I know i seem as the Dayz fanboy but I did actually have hopes for Warz but when I saw its quality I realised that it was a no go, I don't know maybe when the two standalones are side by side then we;ll see which is better but for the time being i'll keep my money

    Try War inc and see how you feel. Then think WARZ was going to be FTP then they decided to charge for it.

    Its a moneygrab tbh, the money they got is about all they will get noone will buy this when its finished.

    But play War Inc 1st, no chance Warz was in development for 2 years.

    I highly doubt nobody will buy the game,if anything the casual player base will go for it before dayz.

    When its finished noone will buy it, im sure the development will go on for a long time.

    F2P are generally poop and free for that reason, some notable exceptions Enemy Territory being possibly the only one :)

    Wouldn't agree with that. Guild Wars is a great example of a top quality free to play game. Just look at mobile, free to play is where all the money is made and is one of the reasons why Crytek are going free-to-play, to make more money, not to make poor games.

    On topic: I was really looking forward to this game, but having seen a number of videos, I've decided to hold back. Certainly not going to pay to play an alpha version of the game. I think it has potential, and they seem to be making a lot of improvements rapidly, however I would be sceptical about this game been in development for 2 years.

    I would argue neither are good and neither are deserving of cash, one is a F2P game that charges the other is a broken mod for a milsim.

    I think both are seriously broken and will never be fixed to a playable level. Dayz at least is moving to a hybrid engine to implement the "idea" that the mod had. It may work i doubt it, Warz is a free game that charges and isnt really any good, its fundementally broken and smackes of "patched up" to make it look like Dayz.

    If all i played this year was those 2 games i would feel ripped off paying for them.

    I can understand Dayz`s idea which is quite brilliant and not since CS have i seen a mod that just makes people go "wow". But CS lads had it easy using that engine.     Never played Guild Wars but still think ET is the only decent Free game ever, that crytek one does look good and the russians seem to like it. But 2 out of 2459480458 free games on PC isnt a big shouting point, mobile is irrelevant here really. Altho i dont have a single game on my **** Lumia 800...i doubt the battery would last loading a game :(

    I have to totally disagree with you about F2P games, Team Fortress 2 is up there with the best fps ever made,as is Tribes Ascend,Blacklight Retribution to name a few.
    Possibly the most played PC game at the moment LOL is F2P,i could go on all night mentioning good F2P titles.
    You best get used to it, its the future.

    I bought TF2? The ****??? Its free now...oic i got a hat for that ;)

    Tribes ..... meh prefer the old version i paid for. Never played Blacklight

    So we still at 2 F2p games that are good and one of them i have never played (GW).

    Kinda ruining which is the best Dayz ripoff thread now :pac:

    GW2 is probably the best mmo on the market at the moment, tribes is probably the best twitch shooter ive played in a bit, planetside2 is going to be ftp as far as i know, as someone else said LoL is massive, as for the whole dayz vs warz who cares if you enjoy it fair play

    I have to disagree about GW2, solid mmo but well behind wow,rift and lotro for endgame content.
    Ofcourse it has decent pvp but for pve the others are far better.

    to be fair it was never made with endgame in mind, give it a chance its only been out a month

    No I havent but i watch the odd stream for 10-15 mins here and there and it looks decent enough i suppose.

    I absolutely loved dayz so much, it was just fantastic but i got sidetracked with other games and forget how to keep things up to date,now im just too lazy to check out my install and get it all updated again.

    What's up with the gravity? It's like they never envisioned falling off cliffs, instead you just fall at the speed of light sliding down it.

    Personally I think it's a very poor game besides the initial impression (namely the sound). A lot of rehashed soundbytes mashed together, it doesn't bring in the same atmosphere that DayZ have done. One plus though is the character modelling is infinitely better than DayZ.

    I might give it another go when there's been huge improvements.

    I know he's more to the comedic side of things, and not reviewing...but the game looked awful, not worth my money...and I nearly buy anything and everything !
