    The thing is, lastminute.com get a certain amount of rooms to sell, so once there rooms sell then the hotel will make the money from the other rooms from other vendors, and looking threw the small print it should have to be honored but we'll only see, and legally I'm sure it has to be. As it clearly states,

    Hotel Instructions:
    Please note that this reservation is pre-paid in full.
    Please do not charge our mutual customer for this booking. The payment for this reservation is issued by Travelocity - American Express provided at the time of booking.

    So this makes me believe its the mistake of this vendor, and then these will have to stand over it and we'll enjoy some serious s**t a** quality stay, :)

    I think it will be honoured and is part of a really sophisticated marketing campaign by the vendor. It's going to be all over the media tomorrow and you can't buy that kind of advertising. They'll look great then when they say they will stand over the bookings. We booked a couple of nights in January because it said November was booked out. That's what makes me think its legit.

    I managed to book a room for 2 nights in January, they have charged my card but I haven't received a confirmation email. How long does it normally take for the confirmation to come through? I booked about 20 minutes ago.

    At most, 2 lines in the Metro newspaper.

    These price mistakes happen all the time, every online vendor has somewhere in the T&C's that they can cancel due to pricing error.

    Not trying to be a buzz kill, just being realistic!

    They would make a huge loss on each room they've sold, think about it:P

    Also: all your confirmation emails are automatically sent, means nothing!

    Can't wait for everyone complaining once they get an email cancelling the booking :rolleyes:

    It said allow 30mins but my confirmation e-mail came through within 3mins though.

    Looks like someone at lastminute has copped on to the mistake, all dates are back to normal prices now :(

    Lets hope all ye who booked last night get the rooms at the 'discounted' rate :D

    Got my email this morning aswell, 2 nights family room with view (of car park prob) and breakfast: 7.69e .. The Hotel isn't showing up on lastminute anymore though.. booked out for the next few months I'd say. This can't hold up, way too good to be true..

    "Your booking is confirmed. You do not need to reconfirm this booking". The third line on my confirmation email. Still would be good if someone rang in.. My dates aren't until the week before Christmas so might be bit early for me to ring them..
