Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

Brady gone up in my estimation tonight taking on all this media-driven bollocks.

    Fair play to you, Liam.

Brady lost all credibility when he spluttered out the fact that the players should go to Trap and persuade him they would prefer to play good football.

Look at the sour puss on him

Yeah it's not as if he's played the game or anything either, or was one of our best footballers ever!

I wish he'd imparted more of the Arsenal philosophy on the Trap setup before he left.

Typical Brady outrage. He uses one newspaper headline to try and deflect away from legitimate criticisms of Trapp.

Classic Eamo, pity he wasn't a bit souped up he'd be beating the head off Brady at this stage.

I'm in the halfway house on this.

We also got results in Russia, were the only team to beat Armenia over there etc.

On the other hand, couldn't put Slovakia or Bulgaria to the sword.

Giles is the one spouting baloney. Trap stuck with his players at the Euros because they took him on a run prior to the tournament where we only conceded 3 goals in 14 games and kept 11 clean sheets.

Nice to hear McCarthy paying tribute to Trap's half-time encouragement.

James McCarthy is definitely on some sort of drugs. Apparently Walters scored a couple?

You can beat what's in front of you, they have only lost 2 qualifiers in 4 years, that pretty impressive no matter what country you are.

Because he's only been beaten in two qualifying games since he took over.

And he brought us to our first tournament in 10 years.

Regardless of where you stand on Trap, that is exactly the kind of result that was needed after Friday.

the amount of old pros that seem to be fan boys of Trap because he was a relevant presence or "football mind" when they played (ala Brady and the like)

the results Trap has had does not tell the whole story in fairness

Won the games we thought we would win. Lost the game we thought we would lose. Can we now wait for the sweden and austria games then judge the man

We only got to the Euro's because Slovakia imploded and we got piss lucky drawing Estonia. I hate when it's used to defend trap

Pointless getting rid of him now.

Sweden are really having a go at them. Getting forward in 6's and 7's when they have the ball. It just makes a joke of how we set out against Germany.

Giles isn't senile whether you agree with him or not. What's with this new fad for calling people senile. It's in really poor taste IMO.

They were 4-0 down what are they meant to do, park the bus?

Brady is just too loyal/stubborn to even agree with the legitimate points that have arisen.Like picking the best players for their positions and picking players on form. That is my major gripe with Trap.We have some decent players who cant get a look in and we dont play enough football ,too much hoof ball.
Anyone watching football for the last year knows Wilson is a much better option than Ward and Coleman is the future RB,he is still very raw but that will improve with games.
Both of thes players are only gettinga look in now in desperate times.

No! We have played 15 competitive games against teams in the world top 50 since Trap came in and only have 2 cleans sheets from the lot!

We got to the Euros because we held our nerve against Armenia when Slovakia couldn't.

    Twice in fact.

We also beat Macedonia home and away.

We didn't automatically finishe 2nd without kicking a ball.

If we draw with Sweden twice this campaign and end up finishing ahead of them because they are held in Kazakhstan then we will have earned it.

But...but..but they should be bowing down to their German overlords and taking it up the arse. Losing by only 4 would have been such an amazing result!!

The next two games will really make us or break us. Would go as far as saying they'd determine whether we qualify or not.

Sweden away followed by Austria at home. 4 points and we'd be in some position. 3 wouldn't be a travesty. Less than 3 we're gone

Oh because we didn't get beaten by the might of Bulgaria and Slovakia? It's not like we even beat those teams either.

We also got beaten by France, so that's 3
