Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

A cracking goal from nowhere by Wilson, a good headed goal by Walters, a great headed goal by Hansen for the Faroes, a brilliant own goal by Johannes, and finally a good placed header by O'Dea.

We have forgotten how good it was.

We only got to the Euro's because Slovakia imploded and we got piss lucky drawing Estonia.

That's a lame stick to try and beat the manager with.

The next two games will really make us or break us. Would go as far as saying they'd determine whether we qualify or not.

Sweden away followed by Austria at home. 4 points and we'd be in some position. 3 wouldn't be a travesty. Less than 3 we're gone

Agree here but cant see us getting a win from either game. II see sweden beating us easily at home and then nicking a win here aswell. Think we might get a draw aganist austria but it wont be enough

Giles isn't senile whether you agree with him or not. What's with this new fad for calling people senile. It's in really poor taste IMO.

Because he's been talking utter bollix for years now. It's been so long since he's played the game he genuinely has no clue what he's talking about, he offers nothing but cliches.

You might think it's poor taste to say but the guy should be put out to pasture.

The argument is about Brady using getting to the Euro's as his main defence of Trap. I'm simply pointing out that anything less than getting to the Euro's given the circumstances would've been a complete and utter disaster. It shouldn't be hearlded as some sort of magical achievement.

Just as getting hammered in the Euro's themselves shouldn't be used as a stick to beat trap with. Everything is relative to the opposition you face

Disagree. Best analyst of a half's football there is. And using senile as a description for someone you think should be put out to pasture is offensive because he obviously is not senile.

    84. Sweden missed a chance there that almost seemed easier to score than miss.

They were probably showing the 'live' table, and Bill misunderstood.

About 4 mins plus stoppage time according to my stream.

What's going on with N. Ireland, they're beating Portugal 1-0 away

Typical Brady outrage. He uses one newspaper headline to try and deflect away from legitimate criticisms of Trapp.

Bollocks. He owned Giles and Dunphy with nothing more than common sense.

He correctly made reference to that poor article in the Indo today to further highlight his point that the hacks in this country are trying to hound the manager out of his job.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 36,407 ✭✭✭✭LuckyLloyd

    4-1 win it seems

3 points in the bag. Before the first 3 matches you say 6 points is expected. Thats been achieved

As always, the results are acceptable. The bottom line.

This is what it comes down to, and as such, I'm ok with Trap having the campaign, particularly now that he's starting Coleman and McCarthy. If that continues, it could make a world of difference to us, along with McClean.

    AGH!!! FUCK YOU SWEDEN!!!
