Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

Crazy bet? But you don't know the odds at which the bet was struck.
I have a very good idea what price it is as I've seen the odds for the win.

We have only one win in competitive football this year and it was against Kazakhstan. Since our last qualifying campaign we have lost several first team starters to retirement and we have injuries going into this game to starters.

    Its a crazy bet imo.

I'd love to know how you came to a conclusion that it was worth betting on.

Yeah maybe RTE figured we're better off not seeing the sh1te. It looked as though a greys anatomy as was going to load first and then it started buzzing.

Brady seems to be trying to answer the question put to him by Dunphy on Friday.

Dunphy had said the long ball was ineffective, he had however told him he would have proof before kick-off last Friday though.

The prize of the competition is to manage the Irish team.

Wow, I see we are 2/5 to win with some bookies, pretty crazy considering the opposition.

I'm after reading back and seeing how that could have been interpreted. My point was that because someone has a certain medal in their collection it doesn't automatically make them a quality player. Finnan was off course a very good full-back. Was not trying to question that. George Best never played in a World Cup, nor Ryan Giggs. That doesn't make them any less of a player. Traore was a very average player but still can list a Champions League winners medal amongst his collection.

I don't quite have the blood pressure to check myself, but are people still blaming an Italian for Ireland not producing a talented player in the last 20 odd years?

I'd go for a shy 1-0 or a slightly more confident 2-0 win, depending on the moods of the more experienced players.

swedan only won 2-1 against them and they are a much better team than us, I reckon we'll probably nick a goal in the last 10 minutes

Yep, they're not just gonna roll over anyway.

I have to admit, I really would laugh if they got one past us :o Would be just the final nail in the coffin

.. and the usual hoof it up the pitch play from us doesn't help

Plastic pitch, strange "corporate" section. This ground seems to have been modeled on Kenilworth Road.
