    Lovely try that

Panicy Wales? 15 minutes out they should be taking their points IMO.

Warburton me fecking arse, Tipuric should be the Wales 7 atm.

They can't even take Warburton off given that he's captain. Gatland needs to make a tough call, because at the moment, he doesn't even look like a tourist

Much in the same vein of Ryan Jones before the last tour

Rob Howley needs to make the call you mean!

On another note, Argentina need to think about pushing for a 15 point win for World Ranking points.

Interesting, would love to know if that comes into the equation. Can they get 4th place ahead of Engerland?

oh i see Gomez can actually play rugby:rolleyes:

I would be surprised if that were high on their list of priorities!

On a separate note I don't appreciate the niggly way that they defend kicks. There's a huge amount of shirt pulling and deliberate blocking going on.

I'd assume any calls over changing captains would be down to Gatland!

Was just wondering was it the same juan gomez as rocked up in Donnybrook a few years ago?

Warburton, Cuthburt & North are dreadful. Scott Davies the only welsh player looking half decent. Priestland & Warburton are shadows of previous selfs.

tough weekend in store next weekend, power of the argies at ruck time is very impressive.

poor poor display by the welsh.

    questionable leadership

Priestland is the problem. hes as predictable.

I'm not sure if they can. If we beat South Africa and they beat us they would get a good few points but I'm not sure that it would be enough. Maybe if England lost out as well. I think they just need to make sure there's not doubt Scotland can finish above them.

Leguizamon and Lobbe are serious physical specimen.

    Tipuric with a turnover.

What does this mean for our position in the world rankings? Can't be good anyway....

Surely they have to give Biggar another chance. Wales were woeful today

It is good for us really. If we beat Argentina now we'll get more points out of it.

Again, Argentina are only really relevant to us if Scotland win against New Zeland or South Africa. If Scotland don't then it doesn't affect our seeding no matter where Argentina finish.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 5,855 ✭✭✭pappyodaniel

I'm hoping Argentina are tired and carrying a few knocks by the time we play them. They'd strangle us on this form.

Have to say the Welsh are ridiculously bad today, no plan B and no leadership.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 4,454 ✭✭✭Clearlier

Clinical display by Argentina. I'm glad that we're not playing them first up.

Well Howley is head coach. He needs to step up and make his own calls regardless of what Gatland would want.

Philips kicking the ball along the ground rather than diving on it really summed up the game. Too many ego's in that team methinks.

Also, Tipuric did more in his ten minutes than Warburton did in the entire game. Will he start against the AB's?

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 5,855 ✭✭✭pappyodaniel

Someone posted this video a few months ago. He's a finisher, no doubt about it.

stupid welsh tactics, why have monster wingers when you use the in tight rather than creating mismatches in space for the out on the wings.

The Welsh rugby supporters myself included called it as well, knew that this team with injuries and picking players out of form was going to have a very tough autumn, combined with Howley in charge who most Welsh supporters would have no time for as coach! So not sure about the overrated bit.
You could see that there was no plan A let alone B and the lack of belief from the players in the system was pretty obvious in the lacklustre perrformance. Too many poor player selections was too steep a hill to climb.
Thought the Argentinians with a bit of belief were impressive although I think they would struggle if they go a couple of scores down to a team. Lobbe was just brilliant in second half he was everywhere

Something wrong with Welsh rugby at the moment, when Cardiff were so appalling at the RDS people dismissed it as they didn't care about the league, but many of those same players looked lethargic today too.

They'll be better by the 6 Nations and probably find a way to win another bloody Grand Slam somehow.

What's the consensus on Warburton's lack of form in Wales\?

Nice to see a decent contrast in colours as opposed to the Irish v Sa game.

Try for France by Louis Picomoles (did I spell that right?) and conversion by Michalaek. France lead Australia 10-3

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 4,300 ✭✭✭freyners

decnet amount of blocking by the french SH for that try, plus the french 7 holding the oz flanker

  • Banned (with Prison Access) Posts: 647 ✭✭✭dropkickrugby

France going back into their shell a bit

Bubbling nicely, Aussies on top but like Ireland can't score a try and inevitably make an error

agree on holding, but machenaud just backed away - i think had he looked over his shoulder for a split second Owens would have disallowed it but didnt seem illegal

Gameplan looks to be soak everything up from the aussies and hit them on the break / second half

Dulin at full back has been muck so far, looks nervous

France going back into their shell a bit

usual from les frogs start off great , then have a vino and a snack and have a little sleep

This is actually a decent match. Aus are playing clever rugby... they need to iron out the issues and handling errors and they could put this French side away.

I'd still imagine they won't tho, and France will score a couple of brilliant individual tries.
