An early Christmas present for fans of legendary Irish rockers Horslips – the band have just announced plans to play The Olympia Theatre on Friday December 14. Rather than just your run-of-the-mill show, the Dublin quintet will be playing their 1976 Christmas album Drive The Cold Winter Away live, in full for the first time. You can also count on selections from The Tain, The Book Of Invasions and a few surprises thrown in for good measure.
The Radiators From Space will be special guests.
Tickets are priced at €33.50 and go on sale this Friday, October 19, from Ticketmaster outlets and www.ticketmaster.ie.

I was there Friday night, absolutely fantastic gig. Crowd were fantastic as expected.

Saw Bono up in one of the boxes, seemed to be enjoying the gig.

Great gig tonight, atmosphere was brilliant, sold really well by the looks of the place. Great stuff all round
