Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

Thats extraordinary as I think my iPad 3 was a bad purchase, now. Not just because of the iPad 4, but because I can't really see "retina" in large screens. I tell people to buy the iPad 2 these days, or a mini.

    Madness.

Got my mini on Saturday and the screen doesn't bother me at all. Yes, it's less crisp than a retina one, but I don't notice it unless I've a really tiny text size. I spent many years of my life looking at screens that were MUCH worse! I think we all have different priorities, for me the size and weight beats retina display.

They can't make the first one perfect - otherwise why would we ever buy a new one? Same time next year lads? :)

I think the display is a bit of a let down but as last poster said if it came with retina display then they'd be no point in releasing one next year apart from faster professors so its a smart business move by apple. The iPad 2 is the same price pretty much so if I was a new customer I'd just get the ipad2 unless your budget can stretch to the iPad 4 retina

iPad 2 & 4 is no use to someone who does not want a 10" tablet.

exactly, i've no interest in a 10inch tablet, my brother has the ipad 3 and its too big.

the ipad mini with retina would've been perfect for me, even the slower processor doesnt bother me, i can live with that but the poor screen is unforgiveable in my opinion

    Interesting article,
Not sure how they can justify the extra 130euro.

Firstly the article is ludicrous. Some expert did "tests" and worked out something that is general knowledge. And they justify it because it sells.

Some companies producing hardware like to make a profit margin on their products.

The alternatives are subscribing to the Amazon digital shopping trolley or the Google personal data pimping factory.
