Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

    Ipad mini sounded good until they mentioned it has the same processor as the ipad 2 which means its two generations behind the ipad 4 chip.

    It's an easy target. Google really need to get their act together on tablet apps. I couldn't move back to iPhone, but at the same time there isn't a hope I'd recommend an android tablet over an iPad. Surface looks very promising though.

    Yep, iPad 3 never existed..

    Price is a tad higher than I'd hoped for the base spec, and was hoping for a better screen resolution but still may pick one up.

    Edit: €279 is reasonable though.

    32GB mini is $429, 64GB for $519. $130 each additional for LTE connectivity

    The $199 price point is full of great tablets at the moment in the US - entering at $429 is ridiculous

    Why would you switch to Android now which will cost you more money when you can just ignore today's announcement as your iPad 3 still works and would have been replace next year by Apple anyway?

    Probably translate to €299 in the IE store. Apple store still down. My guess is €299, €399 and €489 for the 3 models.

    Not sure if they'll bother with the LTE extras over here, but that'll be an extra €100 for functionality which doesn't work in Ireland.

    True, but I was expecting them to up sell the majority to 16 with 8 being for the price sensitive. Apple are niggardly as **** with memory on their phones atm so I was wondering if they'd take cues from that model.
