Saw this in another thread, so thought I would post it here as it seems to apply for every college, I've edited the original post to ITB rather than WIT

The deal: everyone in colleges gets 3GB free for 2 years, if we get 100 people from ITB to sign up we get 8GB.. it goes up to 25GB.

It works whether you have an existing dropbox account or not. So sign up and get free space!

College isn't doing too bad. Might be a good idea to email the student president to email every student in the college. Should be able to manage the extra 8GB then

For the college email, do we just put info@itb.ie or is it our actual college email adress?

I put my student email.

So StudentNumber@student.itb.ie and dropbox accepted it.

You're presuming people actually read those emails

Might be a better idea to get IT lecturers/co-ordinators to send out a course wide email on the subject.

An email has already been sent to most of fourth years. Its getting to the stage where I just mark Student President emails them as read.

Only Need around 73 people to sign up/verify and complete get started pages and everyone gets the 8GB (Even though I already have 55.2GB already (50GB free from phone), I still want more :P )

Yeah, you get an extra 3GB for the next two years. So you'll get 5GB now.
