Best to ring and order it. That way you will know for definite... eventually.

where are you ? Its the complete opposite for me since i got on to the guys in the eircom forum they have been onto me numerous times 2 emails and 2 texts confirming appt aswell.

Expected a bit better than this but i suppose I`m happy enough with it.
Especially with my ping more than halved



Edit: It's a bit all over the place. I've got as low as 19 down and as high as 54 down on speedtest.net.
I'm getting a constant 19-20 on their iPhone app.

Eircom's own site is giving me 24-25
UPC's is giving me 40-42

Who do I believe???

Use speedtest.net on a hard wired connection for a true result.

That`s wired. Tried it a few times and that`s about average but the ping is ranging from 40 to 120ms

There's more than one tech doing the installs though, the Eircom (kn networks) chap that was with me was Drogheda bound and back to Stamullen then from there so they seem to be all over the shop while this is getting done...

I'd like to know this also - I was told by Magnet my line was only 50 capable, yet I got just over that hardwired on the laptop, maybe its not bumped to 70 just yet?
